April 2026 Edition

Six Greater St. Cloud area professionals have been selected for the 2026 cohort of the Minnesota Young American Leaders Program (MYALP) — a partnership between the University of Minnesota's Center for Integrative Leadership and Harvard Business School. The intensive program, held in May on the U of M Twin Cities campus, will bring together 60+ leaders from across Minnesota to learn how to drive inclusive, cross-sector community growth.

The CentraCare Earth Day Run returns April 17-18! 

Central Minnesota's premier race series offers something for everyone: a Free Kids' 1K, 5K Run/Walk, 5K Team Challenge, Half Marathon, and Half Marathon Relay.  Courses wind along the gorgeous Mississippi River and rustic trails before delivering runners to a celebratory finish line on St. Germain St.

The fun starts Friday evening. From 3–8 PM, the Health & Fitness Festival opens at River's Edge Convention Center, with packet pickup and late registration. The Coborn's Free 1K Kids' Run kicks off at 5:30 PM, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 6:30 PM.  Saturday morning brings the big race: the Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay start at 8:00 AM.

And after the miles are done? That's where downtown comes in. Runners will receive Downtown Bucks redeemable at participating businesses — April 17–19, 2026.
