Announcing Recipients of the Innovation, Employer of Choice, Leadership, Project of the Year, and Legacy Awards
Over 130 attendees joined the Nov. 6 All-Investors Meeting, where the highlight was announcing this year’s Innovation, Employer of Choice, Legacy, Leadership, and Project of the Year Award recipients. Congratulations to all the recipients for their innovation, leadership, and lasting contributions to the Greater St. Cloud community!
The 2025 Innovation Awards were presented to:
(Nonprofit) Career Solutions -For its CareerONE program, a paid summer employment and skills-training initiative for youth ages 14–17 that builds confidence, job skills, and future workforce readiness.
(For-Profit) ARXG by Reconomy -For its patented self-service kiosks and mail-back solutions that promote safe, sustainable, and circular waste management—helping reduce landfill waste, protect public health, and advance the circular economy.
The 2025 Employer of Choice Award was presented to Scipi Companies.
GSDC’s newest honor, Project of the Year, recognizes a commercial development that made a meaningful, positive impact on the region in the past year — through new construction or major renovation that showcases regional vitality and collaboration.
The 2025 Project of the Year was presented to theUniversity of Minnesota CentraCare Regional Campus, St. Cloud.
The 2025 Leadership Award was presented to Greg Windfeldt, PCI.
The 2025 Legacy Award was presented in honor of the late Al Kremers.
Gail Cruikshank Appointed to the Governor's Workforce Development Board
Congratulations to Gail Cruikshank, GSDC’s Talent Director, who was appointed last month to the Governor’s Workforce Development Board. She’ll bring the voice of area employers to the state level, shaping workforce policy that directly impacts our region. Her term runs through July 1, 2029.
Recap of EPIC Student Day
EPIC Student Day on Oct. 24 brought more than 4,400 10th graders from 42 districts to St. Cloud Technical & Community College for hands-on career exploration. With over 150 local businesses involved, students experienced real-world career paths and discovered opportunities right here in Greater St. Cloud.
My Town Season 2 Update
