Bring Your Ideas to FastLane94 BarCamp

Photos from 2024 FastLane94 BarCamp

The next FastLane94 BarCamp is set for Thursday, September 11, 4–6 PM at Milk & Honey Ciders in St. Joseph.

At BarCamp, there’s no set agenda—just an open space for sharing ideas. One moment you might hear about whiskey distilling, the next about SEO strategies or someone’s latest invention. It’s casual, interactive, and all about connecting with others who are curious and creative.

This event is also the culmination of our last Launch Minnesota initiative, wrapping up a year of innovation, collaboration, and big ideas from across West Central Minnesota.

Whether you want to present or just listen in, you’ll find four tracks of talks, each built around what participants bring that day. Presentations run about 10 minutes, but formats vary: monologues, Q&As, or group discussions.

BarCamp is about sharing experiences, not polished pitches. Everyone brings something valuable to the table—whether it’s a new hobby, a big idea, or a problem you’ve solved.

A few ground rules:

  • No pre-scheduled talks.
  • No sales pitches.
  • Everyone’s welcome to present or participate.

Curious but shy? No problem—sit in on a talk or chat with others. The goal is simple: learn something new, meet interesting people, and have fun.

Leslie Dingmann, GSDC’s Business Development Director, recently represented Greater St. Cloud as a panelist at Invest: Minneapolis–St. Paul Third Edition by Capital Analytics. The discussion, Inclusive Growth: How is the Twin Cities reaching its historically underserved neighborhoods, and what more is needed?, brought together leaders to examine opportunities for more equitable economic development.

“A region thrives when people feel safe, have access to good jobs and housing, and feel proud of where they live—and that’s the kind of inclusive growth we’re committed to advancing in Greater St. Cloud,” Leslie shared.

With more than 250 CEOs, executives, and government officials engaged, GSDC highlighted the importance of workforce, innovation, and inclusive prosperity—showcasing how Greater St. Cloud contributes to Minnesota’s broader growth story.
